New Tyneside Orchestra
Founded in 1970 by its conductor Stephen Pettitt and leader Michael Smith, the NTO at its first concert numbered a mere 27 players, just enough to justify the inclusion of a Schubert symphony. Current membership is of the order of 60. |

Mid Northumberland Chorus is a choir for local people who wish to sing for pleasure. Music performed is of major and minor classical works of varying difficulty and both ancient and modern. From time to time we commission new works. |
